Tourist injured after South Australia river plunge

A TOURIST is in South Australia’s Royal Adelaide Hospital after the van he was driving plunged into the city’s River Torrens.The 30-year-old man was pulled from the submerged vehicle by emergency service crews who were called to the scene.Witnesses reported the van sideswiped a taxi at North Adelaide before careering down an embankment and into the river.”The injured man is believed to have had a medical episode just prior to the collision which may have contributed to the crash,” said a police spokesman.
